Currently. There is a widespread belief that young students have a lot of free time during the evenings after school or on days off school. From my perspective, giving a choice between learning a sport, learning a music instrument and doing a part-time job or volunteering in communities, the last one must be better for students.

Admittedly, it is generally agreed that learning a sport and learning a music instrument are beneficial for the young’s future lives. Obviously, teenagers can gain a healthy lifestyle by learning a sport. Likewise, learning a music instrument can help student to raise their taste in music and civilization. However, due to the exist of doing a part-time job and volunteering in communities which is much better, they cannot be the best choice for the students to spend their free time.

Doing part-tine job or volunteering in communities can provide teenagers with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience which is helpful for their future life. There is nothing more meaningful than the working experience that helps students to leave the school and work in society. Nowadays, numerous students in our country have much more theoretical knowledge than past days but cannot be a good employee in their workplace. It is reported by CCTV that plenty of students are lack of working ability because they did not have chance to apply their theoretical knowledge to practical uses. In this case, doing part-time job or volunteering in communities can offer students a chance to obtain crucial experience such as how to communicate with others which is helpful for their future work.

In conclusion, I think doing a part-time job or volunteering in communities is a better way to spend students’ spare time because it can help students to gain crucial experience for future lives.
