Society is based on rules and laws. Society would not function well if individuals were free to do whatever they want. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

As we all know, rules and laws are the basis of the society which would not develop and progress if people were free to do anything they want. In my view, it would cause many social problems without rules and laws to restrict citizens’ behaviors.

Rules and laws support the social infrastructures to function well, which are essential parts of the society. For instance, if there are not laws of traffic and traffic lights restricted the drivers, they will drive the car freely and disorderly. This phenomenon may cause the serious traffic jam, and the products would be not delivered to the destination on time. As a result, the values of these goods and the economy of society would show a slightly decline in a short time.

Following moral principles is also important; otherwise, people would not be able to develop a respectful and trusting relationship. They are sometimes motivated by self-interest to do something harmful to other people, such as betraying their business partners which would damage to their relationship. Besides, it is difficult to found and develop a company without a close and cnn.mg relationship between the co-operative companies. In another words, the society could not flourish when citizens lack of mutual trust. Obviously, the crime rate will show a slightly increase, because of no laws prevented people to do something which is endanger social security.

To summarize, the society is unlikely to function well and the economy would be damaged, without rules and laws. It is unreliable that the administration of sureties only depends on the self-restraint of these citizens.
