    “Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school.” Or so reckoned Albert Einstein. While classroom education is the main approach for colleging, out-class sports and social activities play an equal role as sedentary reading for their lifelong benefits to students’ social adaptability, broad vision and integrated development.

    First of all, Humans living in groups. One who soaks in books may fail soaking in the crowd. As a transition between classroom and society, universities and colleges’ duty is not only the education in academics but also in social competence. Sports and social activities create opportunities for clustering, through which can sharpen students’ interpersonal capacity. By these chances to interrelate with others, the youth boost their gregariousness, team spirit and social adaptability, thus competitiveness.

    Secondly, experience decides sights. In-class pedagogy may succeed in text book instilling, but fail in view exploitation. Extracurricular sports and social activities push people to make acquaintances and facilitate the views’ collision, thereby cultivating students’ multiple perspectives.
