A government spends money on a training course that trains adults after the age of 25 in the most up-to-date skills in the workplace. Do you think it is effective? Why or why not?

In some people’s views, the government shouldn’t spend money on it because they consider it as a waste project and it will cost plenty of money. Contrary to these people my perspective is that the government should take courses for adults. This is because it is capable to help them to be efficient and lead a better life.

What must be prioritized is that taking courses for up-to-date skill for adults, instead of doing nothing can develop their knowledge base and trigger their interests. To begin with, if we take courses for adults, people who are taking the courses will get a new idea and knowledge from it. In detail, with the help of the courses, their knowledge base enlarged. In contrast, if we don’t take courses for them, they have no access to knowing the new up-to-date skills. Moreover, taking courses can trigger people’s interest in up-to-date skills. Especially, some new technologies and software are convenient, people can use them efficiently in the workplace. Therefore, people will be glad to learn these. On the other hand, if people are busy in working with work fellows, it’s inefficient for them to deal with tasks without the help of up-to-date skills.

What should be equally worth discussing is that taking courses for adults also can make them become innovated and lead a better life. To begin with, if people with up-to-date skills, they will become innovated. In detail, people can use these up-to-date technologies and software to create new things such as new pictures, music and so on. However, there is no circumstance can people create something meaningful by themselves. Additionally, taking courses for adults helps them to have access to leading a rosy life. To explore it further, people with lots of skills usually earn more respect from others, and they have more chance to be selected as a leader than others. Therefore, they will be paid a better salary. However, there is no doubt that a person has no skills can support a better life.
