Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the recommendation and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, describe specific circumstances in which adopting the recommendation would or would not be advantageous and explain how these examples shape your position.

Some countries require all of its students to study the same national curriculum before going to the college, which is beneficial for students to establish a complete knowledge system and for the country to enhance the education level. However, it should give some area school freedom to open some elective courses based on their unique cultural, especially for some multi-ethnic country.

Firstly, it is vital to use the same books made by experts. The books made by experts rather than some school teachers can guarantee the quality and obviate some incorrect knowledge, which means students tend to have an exhaustive knowledge system. Take China as an example. Some basic subject, especially history, all the students take the same courses and the books are made by experts. It is beneficial for students to know the country completely and learn the merits of ancestors, which enable students not only form an exhaustive knowledge system of the country’s history<span style=”text-decoration: line-through;”>,</span> but also establish a good world value.

Furthermore, it is a good way for a country to enhance the education level because it may incentive country to reduce educational inequality. For some subjects, like chemistry, a significant number of schools in the city have laboratories for students to take courses, while some the poor area cannot offer such condition for students. In order to reduce this education inequality, the government tend to offer more fund and delegate some outstanding teachers to support the rural area. For example, in order to let students living in poor area have an opportunity to go to school, China adopts the nine years compulsory education rule, which allows every student have the same qualification to study for nine years. China provides a large amount of fund to furnish the poor area with high-quality teaching devices, which promote the whole nation educational level.

However, the nation should allow some area to set some elective courses, especially in some multi-ethnic country. Some ethnics tend to have their own culture and maybe difficult for the educational institutes to include all of them into one book. For example, there are 56 ethnic groups in China and each ethnic group have their unique culture. It is essential to let them open some elective courses based on their culture in order let students know more about their own language and culture, which is also a good way to protect the traditional culture of the whole country.

In conclusion, a nation should require students to learn the same national courses before them entering college, but a nation also needs to let some different ethical groups to learn their own language and culture.
