The pie chart provides the information about the percentage of energy consumed in Australia and the greenhouse gas produced by energy consuming.

Heating contributes the largest proportion of energy consuming at 42%, more than twice the figure for household greenhouse gas emissions produced by heating. Water heating is responsible for 30%, the greenhouse gas produced by it is slightly higher(32%).Other appliances use 15% of household energy, while the figure for greenhouse gas produced by it is nearly double.

There is 7% of energy used by refrigeration, the gas discharged by it is twice times.In contrast, cooling and lighting use little energy, constituted 2% and 4% respectively. The greenhouse gas produced by these two energies is also less than other four energies.

Overall, heating and water heating are the main energy for Australian home. water heating and other appliances contribute most greenhouse gas.
