Some people refuse to embrace the trend, while others regard it as a positive development for both individuals and our society.
One of the main advantages of being similar for most countries is that citizens have easier access to commodities originally produced from other regions. If there is no an invisible link between people from different areas, it would be more difficult to purchase foreign brand-new clothes or food. Via importing and exporting products around the world, people can also embrace the impenetrable mysteries of a new culture without travelling abroad. Thus, globalization would not subject anyone to intense trade limit in the pursuit of similar goods.
With the regard to the social benefits, I would suggest that there is some substance to this. Through eradicating the difference of various goods around the world, we can erase a potential cultural gap among most countries. Addtionally, there will be less misunderstanding between governments and individuals from different countries when their citizens share the same shopping habits and pursume simmliar goods. Therefore, the whole world is sure to be more peaceful, that is to say the opportunities of wars will be decreased as the result of the dissappearing gaps among nations.
Those, who suppose that it will be a negative development when countries are getting similar than before, believe that it will destroy a country’s distinguished and stylish culture. However, a nation can not lose its uniqual and independent features as though persons use the same products, and the reason is that the cultural habits and living lifestyle will not be simply changed. For example, a Japanese woman will dress on the traditional customs after an international meeting when she has to put on formal western suits.
