Spatial Distribution Stimulation and Population Exposure of PM2.5 Based on Land Use Regression(first author)(accepted by the Journal of Central China Normal University)
This study aims to understand the spatial pattern of PM2.5 concentration across Hubei Province based on LUR and on top of that tries to figure out the population exposure in the context of industrialization and urbanization. To be more specific, the land use factors that have a significant correlation with the concentration of PM2.5 are selected as variables to build the Multiple linear regression. Interpolation based on Geo-statistic is applied to improve the accuracy of the simulation. In addition, this study investigates the spatial variation of population exposure so as to provide reference to the prevention and control of pollution regionally.
Accessibility and Equity of Green Space for the senior citizens in Community Scale based on Ga2SFCA (first author—not published yet)
The rapid advancement of aging and urbanization pose new challenges to the green leisure space for the senior citizens. Taking Wuhan as an example and using community-scale senior citizens distribution data (3493 communities) and road map, this study applies the method of Gaussian Two-Step Floating Catchment Area in the evaluation of accessibility and Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient in the evaluation of equity of green space.

Research of Urban Ecology with Remote Sensing Images in Wuhan and Impact Factors of Thermal Field (Graduation Thesis)
This thesis aims to identify the spatial ecology changes within 3 years (2013-2016) and examine the influential factors of the thermal field within building environment. In detail, by applying the PCA(principal component analysis), this study construct the RSEI(remote sensing ecology index)based on four aspects, greenness (NDVI), wetness (wetness in the Tasseled Cap), dryness (IBI) and heat (LST, land surface temperature) from Landsat 8 images. Moreover, the buffer analysis is conducted to examine the cooling effect of the water body and forest.
