It is believed by some people that being richer can not bring happiness to citizens in a wealthy country. I do not agree this idea, although citizens in a developed nation may be happier by accomplish with friends and families or by developing some hobbies.

The poverty and middle class may feel joyful and satisfied as they gain additional benefit from government in order to narrow disparity between the rich and the poor. The gap of wealth exists everywhere, even in a developed country. The government can reduce it by levying taxes on the rich and allocating more funds to improve life standard of the poor. Consequently, the advantaged residents in a wealthy state may feel happier as they can live in a better house, enjoy various entertainment facilities and enjoy a better working condition through using extra economic benefits from the city council.

Spending time in accomplishing families and friends or fostering hobbies may make dwellers in a wealthy nation much more happier. Most of residents in a affluent state have already accumulated sufficient fund to satisfy their daily expenses, so they may pay more attention on their leisure time. For example, in holidays, they are more likely to travel with family members and friends or do something they like instead of working in their offices to receive overtime pay.

In conclusion, residents in a flush state can also receive happiness and satisfaction by being more wealthy, although they may acquire further happiness from families, friends and hobbies.
