It seems that ambition plays an increasingly essential role nowadays. I believe that people with great ambition are more likely to make success. Undeniably this phenomenon would benefit the society.

To begin with, employees with strong ambition would pursue constantly a better position. Back in the days, people used to be constrained to a single workplace for the whole life due to job security and steady income. However, nowadays an increasing number of people are keen on being successful, which means a higher income and a greater social status.  To achieve the goal, ambitious individuals need to improve themselves constantly, building all-round skills, like lidership skills, problem-solving skills. Then they would be more outstanding and have more opportunities for promotion in the workplace. In this way, being ambitious would be a key factor contributing to success.

Moreover, this character would contribute positively either to companies or to society. With regard to the former, firms with more ambitious workers tend to have more productivity and profitability. Employers would try to achieve their potencial to be distinguished  from their colleagues. Undoubtedly this phenomenon would bring organizations more vitality and innovation. From a social perspective, if the revenue of companies grow enormously, the government would be able to impose more taxes. In other words, with this taxation, authorities could budget more funds towards important fields like education and healthcare to improve people’s livelihood.
