In some countries, owning a home rather than renting one is very important for people. Why might this be the case? Do you think this is a positive or negative situation?
The willingness of owning a home reflects the reality that people have positive future expectations. It is acknowledged that buying a home costs so much that people have to apply a long-run loan from banks. They are required to pay for the loans monthly so that without stable incomes they will not buy one. The phenomenon, on the other side, positively proves that most of the people in the society have a sense of belongings and ownership. Owning a real estate can give them a feeling of owning a home or a family, which can give them a warm harbor when they feel disappointed or when they lose their directions of future. The ownership of the home even supply them with the last guarantee. In this case, although suffered huge loss or failure, they will pick up the hope of life and keep active attitude.
It is a positive situation because people tend to consider more for the long-run instead of for the short-run. In the era of booming materialism, buying the real estate means that people have a consideration of their future retired life. They do not satisfied of enjoying material consumption in the short term anymore. Instead, they have a more ideal and impressive consuming behaviours, which is also future oriented and is helpful for the harmony of society.
To conclude, the idea of owning a house is caused by varieties of shared reasons. But it is a positive situation because of the shaped consuming behaviours and devotion to the country and societies.

Buying a home instead of renting one tends to have a favorable influence on personal development.The key reason lies in the fact that owning a real estate helps people form a family and develop a sense of belongings and ownership. They would have more specific goals and thus spare no efforts to work hard for their family and home. Also, owning a home can give people huge support, because they do not have to worry too much about the uncertainty of potential risks such as being ill or losing a job. A house will bring a person’s life more stability and in this case, he or she will benefit from it.
Peoples’ home purchasing behavior also lead to a great amount consumption of a series of goods such as furniture. As a result, the total consumption will increase, bringing lives for the market and domestic economy. With a booming market and economic environment, more and more jobs will be created. Hence, people tend to have a positive and optimistic attitude towards life. For this reason, the criminal rate will reduce and a more harmony society will be established.

Nowadays, this situation is very common in China and some other countries. Why did this happen? I will express my thoughts as follow: First of all, the prices of flat and house have been increasing sharply in recent years. What’s worse, they still have upward trends. Obviously, it is a serious situation which makes lots of people panic. They are afraid of that they can’t afford a home in their whole lives. That makes them eager to find a way to calm down their upset minds. Compared with renting a home, owning a home is much more stable. Secondly, most people don’t change their jobs frequently in some countries. In other words, they have a stable and regular life track. If you rent a home as your shelter, you may lose the control of it that is not the situation people are glad to see. If the owner of the home don’t want to rent it to you anymore, you have to find another place to settle down. For many people, it is an annoying situation which costs a lot of energy. Finally, if you own a home, you can rent it to others, which is an easy way to earn money. As far as I am concerned, it is a positive situation. Owning a home in your country, you may save more energy and money. If you only rent a home all the time, there are too many elements that can affect your life. That’s too frustrating. All in all, owning a home is better.
