Nowadays , an increasing number of people are fond of museums. However, whether museums should charge for admission is a controversial issue, My view is that museum entry fee brings many benefits.

Firstly, it is obvious that for museum managers, the fee can relieve their financial burdens, which will enable them to manage and improve the quality of museums easier. To illustrate , the Palace Museum charge visitors 200 yuan ,which is kind of expensive , and it is utilized to raise their staff`s salary standard , resulting in strong appeal to professionally qualified talents to work there. Therefore, the Palace Museum receives numerous talents and gradually makes one of the best museum in the world.

Moreover, excepting the managing expense, the rest of money can be applied in antique maintenance and the protection of works of arts . For example, if museums have adequate economic support, they are more likely to hire more guards and protect each works better, which can reduce risks and ensure the sustainable development of museums with admission fees.

That is not to say free entry can not positively contribute. The ticket price of museums actually might increase the consumers` costs and thus decrease their appetites for museums and ultimately individuals can choose other low expense options instead of museums . But they could not give up the chance to tour museums every time for the enjoyable art appreciation in museums.

In summary, entry fee exerts positive impact on the management of museums. Meanwhile, the price should not be too expensive so everyone can enjoy the access to museums .Only by do so can we assure the advancement of museums.
