Many museums charge for admission while others are free. Do you think the advantages of charging people for admission to museums outweigh the disadvantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Many museums nowadays only charge customers for entrance fees and provide other services without extra payment. From my perspective, it is a good thing to charge people for admission though sometimes it prevents some poor people from entering museums.

Receiving admission tickets can help governments to raise more funds to ensure museums run smoothly. As we all know a large amount of money will be used to maintain the conditions of historical items in museums, some expenses such as fee of opening air conditioners ,labour cost for repairing and lighting are often very high because those items are so fragile. Many governments might become overburdened with their limited operating budgets if they merely open museums for free. Moderate admission fees can be a great help in preserving precious exhibitions in museums.Besides, charging for admission can bring customers a better visiting experience when they spend time in museums. Museums can provide a more pleasant environment for visitors by charging admission, they can avoid museums being crowded and noisy by controlling the number of tickets they release to the public, customers can enjoy a better service while there are fewer people in museums.

However, sometimes admission fees might be a heavy burden for those poor. Those people hardly bear the ticket fees thus they have to give up visiting museums in order to save money, which might deprive the opportunities for people to learn more by viewing exhibitions and materials in museums.
In conclusion, charging people for admission is a good way for museums to provide a better service to the public, though some people might not able to pay for a visit.

Charging for tickets can help governments raise more (delete) funds to ensure museums run smoothly. As we all know a large amount of money will be used to maintain the museums’ conditions (museum and its collection). Some expenses such as air conditioners, repairing cost (repair costs) and lighting are often very high because those items are so fragile. Many (delete) governments might become overburdened with their limited operating budgets if they merely open museums for free. Moderate admission fees can be a great help in preserving precious exhibitions in museums.

Besides (Additionally), this action can bring customers a better visiting experience when they visiting (delete). They can avoid crowded and noisy museums being crowded and noisy (delete) by controlling the number of tickets they release to the public, so customers can enjoy a better service while there are fewer people in museums.

However, sometimes (delete) admission fees might become a heavy (delete) burden for those who come from (delete) poor families. Those people might hardly afford the (Some people might not be able to afford) high ticket fees thus they have to give up visiting museums in order to save money, (split into two sentences here) which might deprive the opportunities for those people especially adolescents to learn more by viewing exhibitions and materials in museums.

In conclusion, charging the public for admission is a good way for museums to provide a better service to the public, though some people might not be able to pay for a visit.
