Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase recycling is for governments to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make recycle more of their waste.

We product tons of wastes from home every day. To use resources more effectively, it is necessary to recycle this waste. This essay shall discuss whether should we use legislation to make people recycle more of their waste.

To begin with, the reclamation rate of waste is not really optimistic before, without any rules or regulations. People have no awareness of recycling. So, they just put all kinds of their wastes into garbage can together rather than dividing them into different categories. And most of the waste were taken to the landfill or cremated, because there are few areas in China afford to the high expenses to recycle the garbage. And in this way, many available things in the wastes are truly wasted.

To some extents, laws are really useful to increase the reclamation rate. For example, there is an area in China instituted a policy on garbage collection, which require people to distinguish the garbage strictly or pay a fine. This policy does have an effect. More and more people chose to reuse their available things before putting them into the garbage can. And at the same time, there are less waste cremated. It is really benefit to our air quality.

However, it is also important to provide guarantees to people. The steps to distinguish the garbage are aimed at reusing them. If the garbage processing plants mixed them altogether again to save money, everything will have no meaning. So, government should also provide subsidy to the plants, which take the advanced technologies to recycle wastes.

In conclusion, legislations are really an effective way to make people recycle more. But it is also important to provide some necessary frustrations to citizens and subsidy to the companies. It may be a great motivator .

To some extent, laws may be effective to increase the reclamation rate. For example, there is a city in China instituted a policy about garbage collection. It asked people to distinguish the garbage or pay a fine. This policy indeed worked. More and more people chose to reuse their reusable things before putting them into the garbage can. And at the same time, there was less waste cremated. It was beneficial to our air quality.

Nevertheless, it is also significant to provide guarantees to people. The aim of distinguish the garbage is to reuse them. If the garbage processing plants mix them together again to save money, everything will have no meaning. So, the government should also subsidize the plants, which take the advanced technologies to recycle wastes.

In conclusion, taking legislations is an effective way to make people recycle more. But it is also important to provide some imperative frustrations to citizens and subsidize the companies. If the legislations can be used appropriately, it will become a effective motivator.

I’m not actually know how to make my essay not so hard to read. If my essay have only simple sentences, will it become a little monotonous?
