Nowadays, some workplaces tend to employ equal numbers of men and women workers. Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

Since the gender equality progressively present as social spotlight, there are quantities of employers show positive attitude to hire men and women employees in a same number. From my way of thinking, I utterly in favour of the idea that it’s a profitable tendency.

There are bunches of strong arguments which support the ideas two genders should be rationally treated in workplaces. Firstly, the equal numbers on employment of both genders in accordance with the trend of gender equality, showing respectful attitude toward the roles female play in our society nowadays. Furthermore, regarding women as same workforce like men provides a large potential worker group that can boost social productivity and be of great benefit to our economy status. All in all, women being treated just as men do is definitely a good orientation.

However, gender equality on employment doesn’t, and shouldn’t be regarded as in every fields two genders share proportion in a same measure. The objective biological distinctions offered women and men with various diversity on abilities. For instance, men might be play a more suitable role in those jobs that require constant working time while the women, due to certain defects on physiology, maybe less appropriate. This difference ought to be noticed and be solved properly.

In conclusion, in spite of several trivial questions brought, an undeniable fact is that treating two genders equally is not only benefit for individuals and society, but also a great step for human civilization on the journey pursuing liberty and equality.
