People have different views about living in a big city or a small town. While living in a small town has a lot of advantages, I believe people are more eager to live in a big city especially for some youngsters.
On the one hand, people living in a small town enjoy a more relaxing and healthy life than those who live in a big city. Firstly, there are less traffic in small towns so that the air won’t be polluted a lot by exhaust emissions. In addition, with a less developed industry, water resource can keep cleaner. Fresh air as well as clean water can definitely lead a healthier life. Finally, countryside is a good place for people living in big cities to relax themselves. Wandering in a small road with a stretching field is good way to release stress.
On the other hand, cities also can be beneficial in a huge variety of ways. To begin with, the excellent transportation networks make people feel more convenient to to work, to visit their friends or to travel around the whole city. Another function of this developed public transportation system is that some private car owners are more likely to give up driving their cars when going out which are able to pollute the air dramatically. Additionally, parents, whether living in big cities or small towns, wish to send their children to big cities where usually have wonderful education systems. Teenagers who have received a good education tend to be more competitive in the job market. Finally, for young people who expect to gain a more promising job, it is wiser to choose to live in big cities. These cities are full of opportunities which are helpful for young people who want to start their own business and develop their own careers.
In conclusion, different people have different options with regard to this issue, but I believe people will benefit more if they choose to live in cities.
