As for the education of children on how to be good members of society, some people believe that parents should play the role on teaching their children to learn this. To start with, parents are the people who stay the longest time with children, and they can have more time and energy on educating their own children. For the same reason, parents know their children better, therefore, it’s easier for parents to teach their children. In addition to that, some parents have quite a lot experience in the society, and they have the ability to teach children on how to be a good members of society.

However, others regard school as the place to learn this. Indeed, teachers in the school are more experienced in teaching and guiding children. More specifically, schools are the place where children are able to learn knowledge, at the same time, they can learn to be a good members of society. And teachers in the school are more advanced in teaching skills and social information according to the requirement of being a teacher.

I am convinced that both parents’ and schools’ education in being good members of society are greatly benefit children. And both are essential to children as well. To teach them better, parents and schools ought to cooperate on teaching children, which suggest both of them communicate more often and exchange information on children.
