Radio will no longer be able to hold its presence, as television and Internet media will replace it very soon. Do you agree or disagree?

Recent decades have witnessed the booming development of mass media. Some argue that the variety of media can replace the radios. Personally,I agree with this statement.

As a start, mass media meet the demands of those who used to listen the radios successfully. With the popularity of Internet, people easily get access to all kinds of news and information at a almost free price, which no longer bothers us to buy radios. This is simply because it is the smart phones which are inevitably owned by most people that serve as the recipient of global and abounding messages. Even for the senior citizens, increasing number of them are familiar with the mass media for seeking the latest news they are interested in conveniently.

There are also more benefits compared to radios offered by mass media. It is widely accepted that only by waiting aside by the radios on time can we catch the certain programs we are fond of, or we simply miss that as they have finished. However, it is undoubtedly untrue nowadays because through mass media , we have the opportunities to watch back every single second of programs for no matter how many times. Furthermore, different social platforms are provided online for like-minded people to express feelings and exchange ideas, which extra satisfied mankind with intrinsic desire of communication.

Admittedly, radios still have its value today so they may last for some time. For example, the drivers of some previous vehicles not having promoted to be linked with Internet are still at the mercy of the random contents on radios. Nevertheless, it will not take long for intelligent cars equip themselves with advanced mass media, thus serving personalized music or audios for the ride.

To conclude, mass media can not only have the same positive function of videos, but also allow people more freedom and interaction in receiving. That is why I am convinced that mass media will take place of obsolete radios sooner or later.

    Issues:

    1. About 60% of the sentences exceed 20 words. Shorten/split them.
    2. About 45% of the sentences are passive. Convert some of them into their active counterparts.

Recent decades have witnessed the booming development of mass media, which has already transformed the way most of us live. Some argue that the variety of media would replace the radio. As can be expected, I agree with this statement. There are the reasons in the following reasons.

As a start, compared to the radio, mass media can provide ample information worldwide at almost no cost of energy and money. People exposed to the Internet are able to acquire latest news, like newly-released videos or emergency at the touch of a finger. More often than not they are immediately informed us by the pop-up windows. What is more, there is no need a radio to buy because the common device among people ,the cellphones, are served as the recipient of global contents.

In addition, using mass media is more flexible and attractive because people can receive information whenever they are available and allow them to disseminate and communicate.  However, only by waiting aside by the radio on time can we catch the certain programs we are fond of and with the unstable signal, sometimes even that cannot work. Furthermore, different social platforms online can gather like-minded people to express feelings and exchange ideas, which satisfied users’ desire for interaction and that is almost impossible in old days with the radio.

Admittedly, the radio still have its value today so they may remain with us for a long time to come .  For example, the drivers of some out-dated vehicles are still at the mercy of the random music and programs on radios because they do not have systems linked to the Internet. Nevertheless, since the smart cars are gaining popularity ,which equip themselves with advanced mass media, the radio will lose ground in the realm of vehicles at the end.

To conclude,  we can view mass media as versatile radios where we can have the rights to watch back the news or programs with various materials and the autonomy to interact or even release news around  by ourselves. As the advanced ones have appeared, I am convinced that mass media will take the place of radios sooner or later.
