    Schools are no longer necessary because children can get so much information available through the Internet, and they can study just as well at home. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

    It has been claimed that online resources are available for students to study at home so there is no need to study in school. Although there are positives of online studying, I tend to disagree with this claim.

    Learning in school provides a more immersed environment for students to behave sensibly. It is easier for teachers to monitor students’ behavior, thus removing students from distractions and allowing them more concentrated on their study. Meanwhile, mutual competitions among students encourage them to catch up with each other, thus studying efficiency and good grades can be prompted quickly compared with studying at home alone. It is undeniable that a more scientific daily arrangement on classes in school leads to a better use of a day and avoid the waste of time.

    On the other hand, schools allow students learn various things not only related to the subjects. Students learn to obey the disciplines in class. They are also trained to be tolerant and learn to respect other members of class through cooperation activities after class, which are essential for their emotional development.

    However, studying at home brings some benefits too. Firstly, students can use online resources on a global scale, which allow them to study whenever and wherever they want at their own pace. Secondly, it helps promote educational equality. New technology brings high-qualified courses and well-experienced teaching staff virtually to remote places where educational resources are scarce.

    In conclusion, although studying at home is beneficial and convenient, I tend to agree that it is essential to attend classes in school.

    Score: ungraded

    Issues:

    1. Some part of speech errors;
    2. Article errors;
    3. Verb tense errors;
    4. About 50% of the sentences exceed 20 words. Shorten/split them.
    5. About 12% of the sentences are passive. Convert some of them into their active counterparts.

    I will send you screenshots to illustrate specific problems/errors.
