    Generally speaking, a work field is where people show their professionalism. In my point of view, I recommend leveraging both the quality of work and appearance. In the following four paragraphs, I’ll elaborate on both these views and give my own opinion.

    First and foremost, the quality of work is the most significant evaluation in work fields. The annual work evaluation is based on how magnificent employees’ work is, for example, the quality of projects, project completion, teamwork collaboration, and more criteria. Employees should focus on what they’re working, which means showing their professionalism by their specialty and knowledge.

    On the contrary, if employees only dress smartly without showing how smart their work is, the smart appearance may be helpless. Dressing a tight suit in summer while sweating is quite uncomfortable and makes people feel stressed. Moreover, appearance is less important for inside workers like software engineers, system maintenance specialists, social media designers, and so on.

    Furthermore, dressing casually will help people concentrate on their work. In Silicon Valley, lots of technology companies let their employees dress easily, with a T-shirt and jeans for instance, so that they can focus on the quality of work even enhance the creativity of ideas. Letting employees dressing comfortably to make them create better work performance is valuable.

    Last but not least important, people should dress appropriately at the same time, especially for the roles that need to meet clients or customers like sales managers, customer support specialists, and so on. Dressing professionally will make a good impression on clients or customers. Based on expressing professionalism and politeness, it may even help increase the revenue for companies.

    In consequence, not solely should employees dress comfortably but professionally as well. Finding a balance between them is the best approach. It helps people feel comfortable while expressing their professionalism by appearance.
