In a number of countries, some people think it is necessary to spend large sums of money on constructing new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Others believe the money should be spent on improving existing public transport. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Obviously, trains have played an increasingly essential role in our public transportation. I’d like to argue that it more worthwhile to invent in improving existing public transport for cities’ administrators.

Some people may show their strong priority to construct new railway lines so that citizens can spend less time on transport, to replenish the market gap generated by the fact that current public transport can hardly satisfy the huge people’s demand for travel. With more railway lines, it seems to be possible to establish a transport network which covers almost the whole country and extremely contributes to the globalization not only in the field of cargo transportation but also in the field of cultural communication.

Opponents, however, argue that it’s more necessary to improve existing public transport with that fund. Since in the development of public transportation system, we have constructed so many stations even airports which are used for just a little period of time then quickly abandoned for their out-of-date features, at meanwhile generate a large amount of waste. Therefore, with limited coffer, land resources, and fast technical innovations, it’s better to improve present public transport from a more environmentally friendly view.

In my opinion, although it’s quite vital to expand the transport network for better opportunities of development, the new constructions project may impose heavier taxes on masses and the requisition of land determines the fact some people are likely to lose their home. What’s more, actually there exist enough public transport to meet the demand, and those who are prone to take a fast journey can choose flight, which it’s similarly convenient.

In conclusion, with possibility to make little economic profit, it’s more essential to improve our existing public transport, despite the fact that transport networks for countries are also vital.

Trains have played an increasingly essential role in public transportations, and a perfect railway network is vital for countries currently. But I hold the view that it’s more worthwhile to invest in improving existing public transport for cities’ administrators.

Some people give priority to construct new railway lines so that citizens can spend less time on transport. Because they think nowadays the large demand for travel greatly exceeds the public transport supplied, the gap directly posed a threat to countries’ economic profit. But with more railway lines, it seems possible to establish a transport network which covers almost the whole country and contributes to the globalization not only in the field of cargo transport but also in the field of cultural communication.

Opponents, however, argue that it’s more necessary to improve existing public transport with that fund. Since in the development of transportation, we have constructed so many stations which are abandoned soon for their out-of-date features, at meanwhile generate a large amount of waste. Therefore, with limited coffer, land, and fast technical innovations, it’s better to improve present public transport from a more environmentally friendly view.

In my opinion, although it’s quite vital to expand the transport network for better development, constructing more railway lines may impose heavier taxes on masses while the requisition of land determines the fact that some people are likely to lose their home. What’s more, actually there exists enough public transport to meet the demand, and those who are prone to take a fast journey can choose flight. That’s to say, constructing more railway lines can hardly generate economic profit.

In conclusion, with finite resources, it’s more imperative to improve our existing public transport, although expanding transport networks is also vital for nations.
