    Far from exploiting workers, presently companies pay more attention to employee’s satisfaction with them. Some people suggest that stopping companies’ sending email out of office time will improve staff’s contentment. But I disapproval of this statement.

    First off, the staff’s attitude to their company comes from multiple aspects; thus, merely stopping sending messages in rest time is unlikely to improve their work experience. Tempting salary, the welfare system, and on-the-job training are more what employees are more concerned about. If a company offers very low pay, even if does not send messages during the week, their employees’ satisfaction would not be high. Therefore, companies must consider the more crucial aspect of staff’s discontent rather than focus on a minuscule part.

    Moreover, postponing the work plan to work day impair the efficiency of the company. If companies prohibit sending email to their staff at the specified time, which often means they have to delay their arrangement. Efficiency and productivity are essential for companies. Always putting off work will decrease the efficiency of the whole company, which leads to poor profits and even makes it hard to run.

    Admittedly, offering an undisturbed environment for employees will make them happier. But this happiness is ephemeral, heavy workload coming with the workday will drive them mad. By contrast, sending emails on weekend may give staff a buffer time, which helps them prepare for formal work. Due to the existing work would not disappear, companies are more likely to allot tasks ahead or behind schedule, which increases the staff’s work burden invisibly.

    To sum up, stopping send emails to staff will not decrease their dissatisfaction and even harm the company. The most feasible way to increase employee satisfaction is by offering comprehensive benefits, including decent wages, appropriate pressure, flexible work pace, and so on.
