The line graph compares the proportion of families’ electrical products for household and the time they cost in the house working in the same country between 1920 and 2019.

It is clear that significantly more and more families did households with electrical machines in this country. We can also see that people spent less and less time on housework.

According to the first bar chart, there were families rarely used refrigerators for preparing meals in 1920. Meanwhile, the ratio of washing machines and vacuum cleaners were about 40% and 30%. However, there was prosperity in using refrigerators, and the proportion of it was up to 55% almost the same as washing machines and vacuum cleaners in 1940. And then, the occupancy of refrigerators went to the first (100%) in 1960 and maintain the status to 2019. The percentage of vacuum cleaners became 100% either in 2000, and the occupancy of washing machines unchanged by and large from 1940 to 2019.

Look at the hour profile line graph, we can see that more and more people cost less time to do housework from 1920 to 2019 totally. To be precise, they did housework 50 hours per week in 1920, and the costs plunged to 20 hours in 1960. Up to 2019, the costs only drop to about 10 hours。
