Some people believe that teenagers should concentrate on all school subjects. Others believe that teenagers should focus on the subject that they are best at or that they find the most interesting. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Some people  insist teenagers should concentrate on all subjects, while others hold the view that teenagers should focus on the subject they like or they are good at. I support the former one.

First,  nobody is an island, so do subjects, every subject is connected with each other,  which you can find in your learning, for instance, it’s much easier to menorize the chemical elements with knowing their English expressions. And historical personage, historical events, physical principles, goegraphical knowledge often appear in the reading in English exams, which would be a barrier to grasp the gist and comprehend articles without basic knowldge of them.

Moreover, concentrating on all subjects force us to deal with various difficulties in different ways due to the characteristics of every subject,  which enhance thier abilities to solve problems and help them to view things from multiple perspectives. Last, with the development of the times, what companies need are elites with a wide range of knowledge, so those focusing on one subject have limited choices, and are liable to face worse career prospect than versatile people.

On the other hand, Focusing on the subject that thay are good at or like, people are prone to have more passion for study and take initiative to study intensively. while concentrating on all subjects is relatively painstaking, stressful and boring, which poses a threat to students without willpowe and self-displine.

In conclusion, I think teeangers should balance all the subjects to bacome a learned person instead of focusing on the subeject you like or are expert in, though the latter one are more interesting and the former one is disadvantangeous to part of students.

    Score: ungraded

    Issues:

    1. About 90% of the sentences exceed 20 words. Shorten/split them.
    2. About 15% of the sentences are passive. Convert some of them into their active counterparts.

Some people insist teenagers should concentrate on all subejescts instead of the subject they prefer. while others hold a different view, I am in favor of balancing all sunjects.

To begin with, nobody is an island, so do subjects, they interact with each other. That’s common in learning process, for example, memorizing chemical elements is easier with knowing their English expressions. In the meanwhile, chemical elements give hints for spelling by offering initial letters. What’s more, problems concerning various subjects are commonplace, as in English reading, it’s much easier to comprehend articles with overall knowledge.

Then, concentrating on all subejects forces them to diffrentiate solutions to various problems due to their charateristics. These practice enhance their abilities to tackle problems and enable them to view things from muitiple perspectives. Besides, balacing all subjects is always linked with integrated developement. They learn not only liberal arts, full of philosophic theories, but also science, cosisting of truthes. That kind of education tends to foster erudite and learned students. Last, students focusing on all subjects relatively approach companies’ requirements for elites with a wide range of knowlege. Therefore, they may face a better job prospect in the future.

On the other hand, focusing on the subject they like or are good at drives more passion and enthusasm for study. So they are prone to take intiative to study rather than to be forced by others. Moreover, in-depth study on one subject are likely to make them experts in their fields apiece.

In conclusion, I think teenagers should be engrossed on all subjects instead of one subject, though the latter one are more interesting and enable them to specialize in one subject.

There has been a debate about the range of subjects students should learn.  Some people insist students should concentrate on all subjects instead of focusing on the subject they prefer. While others hold a different view. I totally agree with balancing all subjects.

One benefit of balancing all subjects is that it enables students accessible to extensive knowledge. And this process prompts them to broaden their horizon and the scope of knowledge. Moreover, learning all subjects means more possibilities, especially in university.  For example, you don’t know that you may be talented in one subject without learning it. Besides, numerous worker realize what they learnt at school is very useful even those they deem futile in the past.   Another benefit is that concentrating on all subjects is likely to achive the all-round development of students. Those elites possessing a wider range of knowledge are just the requirements of many large companies. Therefore, they are prone to face better job prospect in the future.

On the other hand, focusing on the subject they prefer can drive more passion for study. Thus most of them take initiatives to study rather than being pushed by parents and teachers. In addition, in-depth study on one subject makes it impossible for them to become experts in their own fields apiece.

In my view, students had better concentrate on all subejects so that they can become learned and erudite. In the meantime, they can find their potential and develop in an all-round way during the procedure. Although favourite subjects excites more ethusiasm for study.

Those elites possessing a wider range of knowledge satisfy the requirements of many large companies. Therefore, they are prone to face better job prospects in the future.

On the other hand, focusing on the course they prefer can drive more passion for study. Thus most of students take initiatives to study rather than being pushed by parents and teachers. In addition, thorough study on one subject makes it impossible for them to become experts in their own fields apiece.
