    The chart below gives information about how families in one country spent their weekly income in 1968 and in 2018. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

    The table represents the average weekly cost by families of one country in 1968 and in 2018.

    It is clear that the weekly cost on food was the highest for families in 1968, while the highest spend turned to be the leisure in 2018.

    In 1968, nearly 35% weekly cost was on food. The second highest cost was housing, with a figure about 10%. The percentages of money spent on the other aspects were all less than 9%, and people spent the least money on fuel and power.

    However, the statistics changed a lot in 2018. The weekly cost on leisure was the highest(about 22%). And there was a decrease of about 18% in the percentage of cost on food, reaching about 17% which was nearly 2% lower than that of housing. The rest of the figures were less than 15%, while people only spend 3% money on fuel ,power or personal goods.
