    The chart below shows the percentage of households in owned and rented accommodation in England and Wales between 1918 and 2011. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

    The bar chart apparently shows the changes of proportion of households that lived in owned and rented accommodation in England an Wales from 1918 to 2011.

    In 1918 , only 22 percent of households lived in owned accommodation, followed by a gradually rises until 2001, reached the top level of almost 69 percent, which is twice times more than the percentage of households lived in rented accomodation. In the contrast, the latter one started at the top of about 78 percent in 1918, which is about 56 percent higher than the former one.However, the proportion dropped consistently over the next eighty two years period, reached the lowest level of 31 percent in 2001.

    Besides, both two kinds of household take the same proportion in 1971. And what interested is that the trend of percentage of two kinds of households changed again in recent dacades. The percatage of households lived in owned accommodation witnessed a slightly fall of 5%, while the percatage of households lived in rented accommodation get a minimally increase of 5% inversely.

    Maybe in the future the percentage of household lived in owned and rented accommodation in England an Whales will face a new situation.
