When it comes to types of coffee consumed, more people in all the cities bought instant coffee in last month than who bought fresh coffee. The percentages of citizens who bought instant coffee are also quite alike, ranging from 45% to 55%. However, more people in Sydney and Melbourne consumed fresh coffee than residents in the other three cities.

According to the figures, cafes are seemingly quite popular among city residents. More than three fifth of the citizens in Melbourne, Hobart, and Sydney consumed coffee or tea in cafes in the last month. While 55% of citizens in Brisbane went to cafes for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks, less than half of Adelaide residents chose these places.
