It is clear from the chart that the gap between students study for career and for interest narrows with the growing of age. There are 80 percentage of students who are under 26 years old study for career, while the figure for studying out of interest is only 10 percentage. However, the amount of students study for career declines while that for interest rises when students are getting older. to 40%

We can see from the chart that when people’s ages are in 40s, the figure is the same with that study for interest. And when students are over 49, the figure for studying for career is 70%, which is three times as more as that for interest(18%).

To conclude, most youngers tend to study for career while the elder prefer to learn for interest.
