The charts vividly show the main reasons for studying among students of different age groups and the amount of support they receiced from employers.

As the first chart shows, the reasons for study are categorized as for career and for interest. The proportion of students studying for career gradually decreases as time goes by, while the proportion of those studying for interest gradually increases. In the group between 40 and 49, the two types seem to take the same proportion of about 40%.

As for the chart of employer support, the support decreases as the students getting older. Those between 30 and 39 receieve the lest support. It is understandable that the employers tend to help the employees to study for career so that they can better work for the employers themselves, especially those young people who have the most enthusiasm and energy for work.

But after 39, the support increase a bit. This may be because the employees are stepping into the later period of their career. They have already finished the majority of the hard work and have learnt enough knowledge for their career, thus the employers give them time-off and help with fees to enjoy their interest.
