The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.
The line chart compares four different sorts of meat in terms of consumption in a European country from 1979 to 2004.
In this period, the consumption of chicken saw a dramatic increase from nearly 150 grams per person per week to 250, in spite of fluctuation. And it also substituted beef as the most popular meat in this nation.
In contrast, there is a declining trend in all the other three kinds of meat. Having ranked first ever, the consumption of beef maintained a high level before 1989, when it was surpassed by chicken and dropped noticeably. And lamp’s consumption faced the same situation, with its figure decreasing from 150 to moderately over 50. However, the consumption of fish did not experience any remarkable change but a slight dip.
Overall, The people of this country held an increasing favor of chicken and showed less preference towards beef and lamb, while fish still remained the least significant meat in European.<span class=”Apple-converted-space”> </span>
