The media pay too much attention to the personal life of those famous people, such as public figures and celebrities.

In recent years, the media largely focuses on celebrities’ personal lives. All of us have various ideas. Some people say that the media should pay more attention, because they are public figures. For me, I agree with this statement. The reasons are the following:

First of all, many of us want to know how famous film stars’ lives are, because the economic level between us and famous film star people is largely different. So the media is the best way to access famous film stars’ information. For instance: it is reported that a female singer falls in love with an actor; or a Chinese actor, Wuzhun, was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. There are a few luxurious cars, Ferrari, in his home.

Another reason for the media focusing on celebrities would be making money. Some paparazzi stay outside a famous film star’s home to take photos of the star’s daily life. They would sell these photos to crazy fans or post them online.

Apart from these, paying more attention to the public figures would be the increasing demand of people. Some people believe that public figures, such as sportsmen, should exemplify a good example in their personal life as well. Because sportsmen win honors for our nation. When they go abroad to participate in international competitions, they stand for the face of our country. If a popular sportsman has alcohol and drug problems, what would we think of him or her?

In conclusion, whether famous film stars or sportsmen are public figures, their behavior will affect their fans and some other people. They need to be a good example, at least before the camera, so the media need to pay attention to those celebrities.
