When teachers assign projects on which students must work together, the students learn much more effectively than when they are asked to work alone on projects. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Although some people argue that students who finished the project assigned by teachers can learn more, in my opinion, when teachers assign projects on which students must work together, the students learn much more effectively.

In the first place, working together enables students to learn the advantages of each other. In a team, everyone has their own advantages, such as speaking, writing, or computer programming, so they can learn these skills in working together, Besides, due to the increasing competition, the rare time can be had to develop all skills that help people acquire success while working together gives students opportunities to learn various skills at the same time. For example, once studying at a traditional high school near my home three years ago, I was asked to finish a project of social investigation. Although finally I finished it and handed it in, the real instrumental skill, such as PPT, data analysis, and writing skills, can not be learned by me for everyone just was busy with their own tasks. However, after trasferred to a current school, it is a common fact that students were asked to work together. In performing a Chinese-culture research, not only did our team compeleted the project perfectly, but we also learned some advantages of each other. Take me for example, I learn their skills in computer programming and PPT making, which benefited me for many years.

Furthermore, working together helps students learn how to communicate with and cooperate with each other. With the fierce competition of society, it is necessary that people have skills of communication to manage the tasks by teamwork. Consequently, to develop these abilities, teachers should offer to train their students to work together at school, which be beneficial to them. According to the survey conducted by MIT among young people in several major cities, when it comes to the most helpful skill studied at school, more than 90 percent of subjects claimed that it must be communication skills. Cast the career after leaving school and working in the society, they insisted that it is communication skills studying at school that help them get prompted in the workplace, which enable them to communicate better with the customers and the boss,

In conclusion, it is more helpful for teachers to assign projects on which students must work together due to the advantages of each other and the communication skills they can learned.

Effective learning is the result of acquired knowledge and skills and the widened range of understanding. Nowadays, some people argue that learners who finished the project alone can learn more. In my opinion, I agree that group work makes them learn far more efficiently.

To begin with, working together enables scholars to learn the strengths of each other. In a team, everyone has their own advantages, such as speaking, writing, or computer programming. They can discover in each other while working together. For example, when I was studying at a traditional high school, I tried to finish an activity on social investigation. At that time everyone just was busy with their tasks. As a result, I had a difficult time learning the real instrumental skill in PowerPoint presentation, data analysis, and writing skills. However, after transferring to a different school, it is a common fact that students there were asked to work together. In performing a research, not only did our team complete the project perfectly, but we also learned more about each other. I was able to learn from them essential skills which benefited me for many years.

Furthermore, working together helps students learn how to communicate and cooperate with each other. With the fierce competition in the society, it is necessary that people have communication skills to be able to manage group activities. Consequently, to develop these abilities, teachers should offer to train their students to work together at school. According to the survey conducted by the Beijing Universit among young people in several major cities, more than 90 percent of the subjects claimed that communication skills is the most helpful skill learned in schools. This is also the skill that helped new graduates to fin d suitable jobs.

In conclusion, it is more helpful for teachers to assign projects on which students must work together. This is because it helps them discover each other’s assets and in improving their communication skills.
