The diagram illustrates the the percentages of different kinds of books sold in a bookstore in three years.

Starting at a data of 20%,the selling of adult fiction increased dramatically in the next 20 years to 135%.In2012,it reached the peak of all the fighre(45%).Similarly,the growing trend of children was showed as well.However,the proportion of its selling solely climbed insignificantly by 2%and 3% in the 2 years respectively.

Different from them,’others’books were bought less and less by customers,decreasing from the highest data in 1972 at 25% to 18%20 years later.In the 2012,the rate of it was less than half of it in 40 years ago 1(12%).When it comes to the biographies,it fell sharply,too.Drpping to t<span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>he bottom of all the data,there was a considerable decreasement(20% to 5%)of it from 1972 to 1992 Although 2012 witnessed a slight fluctuation of it,it still remained the lowest in the year.</span><span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>As for the proportion of books about traveling ,a minimal rise from 15% to 20% occurred in the 1992,but the selling of it descreased rapidly ,only helding a data at 10%in 2012.</span>

Overall,in the forty years,books about adult fiction and children fiction took up bigger and bigger parts while| other kinds of books all showed a downward trend
