Our lives has been getting increasing complex since the beginning of 21st century. The advancement of technology not only brings convenience to us, but also change our lives in a dramatic way. Some people believe that the youngsters do not need to practice their ability to plan or organize since they believe that the lives people lead are the same with theirs, which is slow and enjoyable. However, I think that this is a popular misunderstanding. From my perspective, young people should definitely have the skills of planning and organizing in order to better equip themselves for future challenges that might confront them any time in such a constantly changing world.

One of the most important lessons that I have learned is that young people should have the ability to plan for their own careers and their plan will serve a lighthouse on young people’s road to their ultimate dream. For example, Elon Musk had known that he would like to devote himself into the enterprise of the cars which employ new energy even before he went into his university. It is undeniable that he seemed to have started several companies that have nothing to do with his ultimate goal. But ultimately, it turns out that the things he has done before were to pave the road to his goal in terms of funds, human resources, experience in creating a company, etc., and he managed to build his company Tesla, a company that focuses on the new energy car. If youngsters know how to plan their careers in advance, they will clearly know what they have to sacrifice and in order to achieve their goal.

Besides, the ability to organize time is also crucial for youngster, since time is limited and the wisdom of allocating time could definitely benefit them in almost any circumstance. When I was in my college, I used to take so many responsibilities like participating in the internship, taking GRE exam, competing for the position of the president of the student union and so on. I once felt quite tired and even devastated due to those tasks, which resulted in my insomnia and the plummet of my GPA. I decided to change the situation, so I talked with my college parent (a senior student who we could always turn to for help in my college), who taught me his trick of dealing with numerous tasks. After that, I gradually learned to prioritize the things that I need to do and allocate my time to each task wisely like memorizing words in the morning instead of midnight, and I found that I could handle the tasks more easily one day.

The ability of organizing and plan is quite important for youngsters nowadays, since they have to face countless task, challenges, and traps in lives in such a complex time. It cannot be denied that they couldn’t ensure the success, however, they will improve your lives and help you to do better on the youngsters’ road to their dream.
