    Nowadays, people are exposed to a large extent of information and knowledge, regardless socially or personally. Under this circumstance, the choice between knowledge collection plays a pivotal role in modern society. Compared to learning knowledge of a single subject, multi-subject learning can help discover people’s interest at youngsters time, then develop their survival skills at middle age, and finally enrich the happiness of life after people retire.

    People’s desire to knowledge reaches a peak at the young age. By learning knowledge from all aspects, children can primarily figure out what kinds of information they love to master, which may later contribute to their career choice. For example, I have a friend, Dan, who always favor to go to musesums and zoos when he was young. In those places, he was capable to gain the systematic information of natual science, which led a great fundation to his later career selection as a zoologist. It’s a wise choice for youngsters to try every subject they are fond of, and try not to be regret of.

    As people grow up, learning a variety of knowledge become much more essential. By studying distinctive subjects, one’s working skills in different fields may increase at the same time. Take my mom as an example, she’s a medical company manager majored in chemistry. However, she realized that she needs more knowledge to fulfill her work requirement, then she took part in an pharmaceutical course, which help her improved a lot later in her work. Expanding one’s knowledge base plays an indespensable part in one’s career and help people grow.

    It might be true that people who are expertised in one subject can be successul, but for more ordinary people, understanding knowledge of all fields is much easier. In all stages of people’s life, it’s inevitable that expanding knowledge base can bring us more opportunities and fortune.
