Global warming is one of the most serious issues that the world is facing today. What are the causes of global warming and what measures can governments and individuals take to tackle the issue?
It is the fact that nowadays the serious problem facing the environment is global warming. I would argue that it has a bad impact on planet and human activities ought to take responsible for this severe problem.
There are many negative points of global warming. Firstly, it causes the rise of the global temperature with the gases such as carbon dioxide trapping heat from the sun. In this way, the situation of melting of the polar ice caps become increasingly severe. Numerous animals living in this area would lose their existing home, even force the problem of extinction. Secondly, global warming ought to take responsible for bad weather. It dramatically breaks the rule of natural recycle, which can expect more extreme weather conditions such as flooding and drought. Therefore, the industry and economy in human society under this threat suffer.
Broadly speaking, there are three main reasons for this. First of all, to gain a faster development speed and less cost, many factories, especially in developing countries, produce poisonous gases without supervision. Also, people who traveling are likely to drive their private cars instead of public transportations in recent years. This means that great amounts of fumes have been exhausted in the air and there are no actions to tackle them. Finally, the deforestation, particularly of rainforests, hinder the transfer process from carbon dioxide to oxygen, which causes the global warming become increasingly serious.
In sum, global warming has a passive influence on both human beings and nature. However, human activity is a root reason and people ought to make efforts to tackle the problem.
