The author conclude that Palean baskets were not uniquely. To justify it, the author points out that Brim River is so deep and broad that no ancient Paleans have crossed it and there is no Palean boats have been found but archaeologists have discovered such ‘Palean’ baskets in Lithos. However, this argument is flawed in several doubtful ways.

First of all, the author must provide more evidence that the ‘Palean’ basket found in Lithos is totally different from the Woven baskets discovered in Palea. Without it, it is possible that the basket had been delivered to Lithos but originated from Palea. For example, maybe there was a tsunami attacking Palea which is quite frequently in village by the sea. Because ancient people lack of predicting and protecting methods, their creations like Woven baskets may be washed into the sea. After years, these baskets may be push into the land of Lithos before Palean can get in.

Besides, the author claims that Brim River is very deep and broad that Palean could cross it only by boat but without giving the evidence that how deep and how broad the river it is. If the river is not so deep and broad, there is possibility that Palean could cross it by swimming or building a bridge for discovering new land. Or in ancient time, it was so cold that there exist an ice land connecting both sides. Then Palean basket could be brought to Lithos. Without providing more evidence, the author cannot convince me that Palean basket couldn’t be brought to Lithos because there was no boat to allow them to cross the sea.

Even though it is true that the Brim River is extremely deep and boat, no Palean boats have been found doesn’t mean that they didn’t build some boat to cross the sea. Owing to the material that ancient people used to build boats is not as good as ours in modern society, it is likely that these boats have been corrupted by wind and water. Hence, the author need to provide more evidence about what material Palean can use or is it any debris found to support his argument.

In sum, this argument is implausible. To strengthen it, the author must provide evidence to show the found in Lithos is totally different from baskets discovered in Palean, the river is so deep and broad that no Palean have crossed it without boat and there is no debris of boat found in Lithos.

Woven baskets characterized by a particular distinctive pattern have previously been found only in the immediate vicinity of the prehistoric village of Palea and therefore were believed to have been made only by the Palean people. Recently, however, archaeologists discovered such a “Palean” basket in Lithos, an ancient village across the River from Palea. The River is very deep and broad, and so the ancient Paleans could have crossed it only by boat, and no Palean boats have been found. Thus it follows that the so-called Palean baskets were not uniquely Palean.

The author conclude (verb form error) that Palean baskets were not uniquely (unique). To justify it (this claim), the author points out that (missing article) Brim River is so deep and broad that no ancient Paleans have crossed it and there is (delete) no Palean boats have been found (split into second sentence here) but archaeologists have discovered such ‘Palean’ baskets in Lithos. However, this argument is flawed in several doubtful (delete) ways.
