The younger generation spends the majority of their time at school and does not have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge into practice. As a result, if they are required to assume their responsibility in the government, they will fail to carry out their tasks in an efficient way.

Despite the drawback mentioned above, I am still convinced that it is reasonable to permit young people to take up a position in the administration because they can inject vigour into the government. Senior officials, who hold essential positions, are accustomed to the status quo and thus reluctant to promote reforms. This will result in the stagnant operation of power in the long term. The younger generation, however, can make changes to improve the situation and thereby reinvigorate the administration with their dynamism. Youngsters can also offer innovative ideas to tackle thorny problems. They can view these issues from a different perspective and enlighten their seniors with inspirational opinions. This will enable the authorities to come up with effective solutions and take measures to address these issues.

In conclusion, I believe that young people can bring benefits to the administration with their energy and new ideas. It is therefore imperative to encourage them to play their role in the government.
