In the era of booming portable electronics, online readable materials tend to attract more people due to the extensive access. Thus, it seems that no one is willing to purchase printed reading materials anymore. I disagree with this idea.

Indeed, it is reasonable to think there is no need to pay for reading materials. With the speeding up of internet-supported devices usage such as mobile phones, laptops, and kindle, people can download and read the e-books they want everywhere at any time. Besides, the development of information technology and 5G technology as a new trend makes it easier to browse the Internet. To attract new customers and to get competitive advantage, publishers tend to offer free online access to the public. As a result, there will be no need to pay for most of the printed newspapers or books.

However, it does not automatically mean that free access will absolutely take all the shows of reading materials. For example, researchers should charge to get the investment back, or it is a waste of their academic intelligence and research devotion. In addition, there will be many people remain to be fans for printed materials, the olds, for instance. Because they may feel difficult to keep pace with the developing era. Some of them may hold the view that printed reading materials do not have radiation, thus protecting vision and brain. As far as I am concerned, there still be a huge market for printed materials with the coming of an aging society.

To conclude, although the number of people in favor of portable reading devices may increase, printed materials will never be replaced.

To attract new customers and to retain loyal customers, publishers also tend to offer free online access to the public. As a result, there will be no need to pay for printed newspapers or books for most people.

However, it does not automatically mean that everything people want should be free. For example, the research reports which require huge costs, academic intelligence, or devotion of researchers’ groups need to be charged. Besides, there will remain many fans of printed materials such as the olds due to the fact that they are losing learning abilities as well as not able to fit for the new reading methods. Moreover, printed reading materials is quite good for health because of the avoiding of radiation or degeneration of eye sights. Thus, there still be a huge market for printed materials.

To conclude, both portable devices and printed materials have their own merits. The decline of one part may lead to the increase of the other but neither will be totally replaced costless.

Nowadays, some countries see a shifting concept from home renting to home buying. There are varies of reasons shared in common. The good news is that it is a positive situation.

Buying a home instead of renting one tends to have a favorable influence on personal development. The key reason lies in the fact that owning a real estate helps people form a family and develop a sense of belongings and ownership. They would have more specific goals and thus spare no efforts to work hard for their family and home. Also, owning a home can give people huge support, because they do not have to worry too much about the uncertainty of potential risks such as being ill or losing a job. A house will bring a person’s life more stability and in this case, he or she will benefit from it.

Peoples’ home purchasing behavior also lead to a great amount consumption of a series of goods such as furniture. As a result, the total consumption will increase, bringing lives for the market and domestic economy. With a booming market and economic environment, more and more jobs will be created. Hence, people tend to have a positive and optimistic attitude towards life. For this reason, the criminal rate will reduce and a more harmony society will be established.

To conclude, renting a house may boom the economy or be suitable for a person in the short run. However, in the long run, both individuals and the society will benefit from the home purchasing due to the shared reasons stated above. There is no doubt that it is a positive situation and should be supported.
