Recruiting the exact number for girls has some benefits. First of all, this measure allows male and female students to have the same opportunities for high-level education, which will benefit woman students to get a degree and find a decent job after graduating. Moreover, giving a chance to female students to go to universities emphasize the importance of female education, which can rise the attention of the whole society. To some extent, accepting the same number of boys and girls helps promote females’ status in the long term.

On the other hand, this regulation may limit the chance of woman students to have an education in some subjects. For example, for art majors, a large part of high-score students are women. That means if universities enrolled students by grades rather than their genders, more girls would major in their favorite subjects. Furthermore, this measure cannot help females who are in need. In some areas and countries, some women even cannot get the chance to apply for an admission because of gender bias. Besides, the economic situation and heavy household burdens prevent them from receiving better education. If schools were willing to assist these women, institutes and universities would make a difference in many aspects instead of enrolling the same amount of male and female freshmen.

From my point of view, although it is reasonable for universities to make efforts to recruit more woman students, this measure may be counterproductive. Every student should be treated equally, while society and colleges can provide females with a better education in other valid ways.

Some people argue that colleges should enroll the same number of man and woman students in every major. I partly disagree with this opinion because it sounds unrealistic to perform. My arguments for this point are listed as follows.

Recruiting the exact figure for different genders students has some benefits. First of all, it can allow male and female students to have the same opportunities to accept high-level education, which will benefit women to get a degree and find a good-salary job after they graduate. Moreover, this action can give a chance to female students who have good grades but cannot get the chance to go to universities for the limitation of numbers of students enrolled. To some extent, accepting the same number of boys and girls helps promote females’ status in the long term.

On the other hand, this regulation may limit the chance of woman students to have an education in some subjects. For example, for art, a large part of high-score students are women. That means if universities enroll students by grades rather than by equal number, more girls will major in their favorite subjects. Furthermore, this action cannot help females who are in need. In some areas and countries. Some women even cannot get the chance to apply for a admission because of gender bias. Besides, the economic situation and heavy household burdens prevent them from receiving better knowledge training. If schools are willing to assist these women, institutes and universities should make a difference in many aspects instead of enrolling the same amount of male and female freshmen.

From my point of view, although it is reasonable for universities to make efforts to recruit more woman students, this measure may be counterproductive. Every student should be treated equally, while society and colleges can provide female with better education in other valid ways.

Recruiting the same figure for different genders students has some benefits. First of all, it can allow male and female students have the same opportunities to accept high-level education, which will benefit women to get a degree and find a good-salary job after they graduate. Moreover, this action can give a chance to female students who have good grades and enable man and woman students compete on the same level ground for admission. To some extent, accepting the same number of boys and girls help promote females’ status in the long term.

However, this regulation may limit the chance of woman students to have education in some subjects. For example, the art, a large part of high-score students are women. That means if universities enroll students by grades rather than by equal number, maybe more girls will be accepted. Furthermore, this action cannot help females who are really in need. In some areas and countries, many females still struggle with the gender bias that it is not necessary to educate women. Besides, the economic situation and heavy household burdens prevent them from receiving better knowledge training. If schools are willing to assist these women, they should make a difference in many aspects instead of enrolling the same amount of male and female freshmen simply.

From my point of view, although it is reasonable for universities to make efforts to recruit more woman students, this measure may be counterproductive. Every student should be treated fairly while the problem of female education should be solved in other valid ways.
