Nowadays some countries have more young adults than older people. For most nations that have faced a severe aging problem like China and Japan, I hold the view that this situation bears relatively more advantages.

At first, Young adults can prompt economic development. Because the youth are more reliable working forces, they can help generate more economic profit, especially in labor-intensive industries. Besides, instead of being stuck into the aging problem, which always ends up as an economic slowdown, countries without that worry can mainly focus on development. Thereby, younger labor forces provide masses with better collective well-being.

What’s more, Young adults show more prospects to expand the frontiers of diverse fields. Because young adults always behave vigorous as well as adventurous, they are more prone to experience new things rather than fear fails. For instance, in the development of science, thanks to numerous scientists who dared to explore the unknown fields, we come to know the world, even the universe, more clearly and exhaustively. That’s to say, young adults, are likely to accelerate the progress of society and create more possibilities.

On the other hand, there may be some potential menaces in the future to some extent. As this batch of young adults gets older, the problem of population aging come to manifest gradually. What’s worse, those who long for a sense of achievement may lead to more conflicts, while the elderly tend to be more mature.

Generally speaking, a sizable number of young adults contributes to society rather than destroys it. Although several potential problems may pose a threat to the country, they can be resolved rationally with appropriate means.

Trains have played an increasingly essential role in public transportations, and a perfect railway network is vital for countries currently. But I hold the view that it’s more worthwhile to invest in improving existing public transport for cities’ administrators.

Some people give priority to construct new railway lines so that citizens can spend less time on transport. Because they think nowadays the large demand for travel greatly exceeds the public transport supplied, the gap directly posed a threat to countries’ economic profit. But with more railway lines, it seems possible to establish a transport network which covers almost the whole country and contributes to the globalization not only in the field of cargo transport but also in the field of cultural communication.

Opponents, however, argue that it’s more necessary to improve existing public transport with that fund. Since in the development of transportation, we have constructed so many stations which are abandoned soon for their out-of-date features, at meanwhile generate a large amount of waste. Therefore, with limited coffer, land, and fast technical innovations, it’s better to improve present public transport from a more environmentally friendly view.

In my opinion, although it’s quite vital to expand the transport network for better development, constructing more railway lines may impose heavier taxes on masses while the requisition of land determines the fact that some people are likely to lose their home. What’s more, actually there exists enough public transport to meet the demand, and those who are prone to take a fast journey can choose flight. That’s to say, constructing more railway lines can hardly generate economic profit.

In conclusion, with finite resources, it’s more imperative to improve our existing public transport, although expanding transport networks is also vital for nations.
