Having a glimpse of society, the rapid development of the Internet enables people to acquire news promptly. Some people argue that knowing these events has significant importance even it is irrelevant for themselves. However, my view is that they should avoid acquiring too much unrelated- to-life news.

To begin with, knowing too much irrelevant news will decrease work efficiency. As is known to all, most reported information has no connection to people’s lives, such as wars of other countries. Spending time browsing the news will divert attention and reduce productivity.

Take me, for example. All of Kobe’s stories had interested me, including where he was going and what he was playing today. Thus, I spent most of my working time collecting these reports. However, Instead of getting some helpful experience from this news, I received warnings from my boss because of the decrease in work efficiency. As a result, knowing too many events that are irrelevant to my daily life is harmful to my work performance.

Furthermore, knowing too many irrelevant events will disturb ordinary life. The media usually report some negative news in order to interest people, such as murders and robberies. This news will influence people and enable them to consider the world is dangerous. Consequently, the anxiety will accompany them all day, which will disturb their ordinary life.

According to the latest survey conducted by Peking University among 2000 adult people in several major cities, almost 20 percent conveyed that they were affected by the negative news. For example, stealing news will make them distrust their colleagues, which destroys their friendship and reduces their happiness. Hence, acquiring too many reports that are unlikely to affect their lives disturb their lives.

To conclude, sufficient evidence can prove that knowing too many events that are unlikely to affect daily life is disadvantageous. This is because it will decrease work efficiency and disturb ordinary life.

Nowadays, some people argue that learners who finish a project alone can learn more. In my opinion, I agree that group work enables students to learn more.

To begin with, working together enables scholars to learn the strengths of each other. In a team, everyone has their own advantages. They can discover each otherwhile working together. For example, when studying at a traditional high school, I tried to complete a social survey of people’s educational status in a team. At that time my teammates were busy with their tasks. As a result, I had a difficult time learning the real instrumental skill on data analysis and writing skills. However, after transferring to a different school, professors usually asked the students to work together. In performing research, not only did our team complete the project, but we also learned more about each other. I was able to (learn from the essential skills, such as speaking and writing,  that benefited me for many years)

Furthermore, working together helps students learn how to communicate and cooperate with each other. With fierce competition in society, itis necessary that people have communication skills to be able to manage group activities. Consequently, to develop these abilities, teachers should train their students to work together at school. According to the survey conducted by Beijing Universitamong young people in several major cities, more than 90 percent of the subjects claimed that communication skills are the most helpful skill  learned in schools. This is also the skill that helped new graduates to find suitable jobs.

In conclusion, it is more helpful for teachers to assign projects on which students must work together. This is because this way can help students discover each other’s strengths and improve their communication skills.

Active learning is the result of acquired knowledge and skills and the widened range of understanding. Nowadays, some people argue that learners who finished the project alone can learn more. In my opinion, I agree that group work enables them to learn more.

However, after transferring to a different school, professors usually ask the students to work together. However, after transferring to a different school, it is a common fact that students there were asked to work together. In performing a research, not only did our team complete the project perfectly, but we also learned more about each other. I was able to learn from them essential skills which benefited me for many years.
