Having a glimpse of current society, more and more people attach greater importance to education. Some people claim that the small class is better, because it can create a positive study atmosphere. However, my view is that big class with more students is an optimal option.

To begin with, attending big classes with more students is conducive to expanding students’ social networks. Obviously, students in the big class may have plenty of group discussions. Through this way, students could have a chance to acquaint someone who has similar hobbies or goals. Therefore, it is possible that they keep touching and assist each other in study and life. For one thing, when they meet difficulties in study, they will encourage each other to overcome obstacles and learn strengths from others. For another, they will get rid of loneliness, like going shopping or traveling together, which enables them to cope with daily pressure. As a result, taking big classes benefits students.

In addition, attending big classes contributes to mastering knowledge and skills. During classes, students exchange their ideas and share what they have learned from many aspects. In this case, students could get different sources of knowledge. But if they should take small classes, they would discuss for a short time, then the professor continuing talking. Thus students will lose interest in studying, which is detrimental to solidify knowledge. What’s more, in the big class, students do some group activities, communicate with each other. Through the period, they hone their communicative skills and teamwork, which constitutes a stepping stone to their future development.

In a word, I think that it is more advisable for students to take large classes rather than do another.
