The lecture raised 3 pieces of critics toward the passage About Cloud seeding, which is a way to turn harmful hails into beneficial rain or snow.

First, it refuted the evidence About the laboratory Experiment. In the lab, when scientists add silver iodide to water vapor, snow formed and fell. Although the method may be effective in controlled conditions in the lab, it might lose its effects in the natural world, where the situation is far more complex and changeable. The risks of carrying out the Approach is also overwhelming, she said. Drought could be caused since the chemical may eradicate the entire precipitation, including the rain that crops Need to flourish.

Next, she disagreed on the proof from Asia, where the Approach has been successful. She stated conditions in Asian countries and the US are different, and may result in different consequences as well. Also, since the experiments took place in urban Areas, other variables such as air pollution, should be taken into consideration. She claimed that the Pollution interacted with silver iodide and altered the Outcome as a result.

Last of all, local studies are not necessarily convincing. There has been observation that not only where the experiment took place but also the surrounding areas had been affected. She argued that this is a result of natural variation instead of artificial changes.

As kindergartens changed from an institution merely taking care of the children into an educational spot, the public has been discussing whether governments should invest more in kids or university participants. I believe that the officials should spend more money on the adults instead of the children.

First of all, young children are not capable of learning as fast as high school graduates. During the age of 5 to 10, the brain of a typical child has not yet developed. What now kids are supposed to learn is the capability to eat, brush their teeth, and other basics. These help them to build cognition of the world and their values. Learning to read or write is the next step which teaches them about the strenuous efforts needed and so on. However, university students have already gained the basic abilities. What they want is the improvement in academics and skills in specific fields. In the age of 18 to 22, they can learn with a faster pace. If the government invests more in universities, they would be able to achieve accomplishments in a shorter period.

Also, an increasing number of US citizens are in need of college education. As the years go by, employers and students have learned that a university degree helps get a better job. As a result, an increasing number of students are calling for university education. While the tuition fee is also rising in time, the government should provide more opportunities for the poor and the middle class to receive higher education. In that way, the country can also be benefited by the investment, since more talents were created. On the contrary, early schooling doesn’t have an extraordinary impact on one’s general development.

All in all, I agree that governments should provide financial aid for the universities, since students in that level learn faster, and investing in it brings the country a better prospect.
