The moment of graduation and awarding diploma is precious for every student as it is exactly what they are fighting for and looking forward to. Imagine if you are at the last semester on campus, whether to take courses taught by professors that you have taken their courses in the past or by professors that are unfamiliar to you? Personally,I prefer to take courses taught by professors with whom I had other classes during the past.

On the one hand, a familiar professor is more likely to provide better assistance in and out of class. To be more specific, for one thing, during the classes, learning with this kind of professors, students would know his or her approaches and how to get the most from it. This point can be better and further supported by the example from my Professor Mr.Yang, an expert in business administration of my college, acts like both an intimate friend and a mentor in my life. It is not difficult to understand that each professor demonstrates unique teaching style together with various requirements or criteria for their specific courses and assignments.

On the other hand, new professors may bring brand new teaching methodology and wider range of knowledge. Plus, they may probably befriend students. Studying a new course with a new professor undoubtedly creates a huge challenge with more burden and pressure on students, which distracts them or even disrupts their schedule. To put it in a nutshell, if I was in the last year of university life and faced with choosing a course, I would prefer to study with the professor that had taught me before. In this way, not only can we get better help in or out of class, but also it makes everything on calendar in order, which guarantees a memorable university life and successful graduation.

The issue regarding courses taught by professors with whom students have or never taken provokes a heated debate among individuals. Accordingly, l, without hesitation, advocate that I prefer to take courses taught by professors with whom I have already had other classes during my past years of study on account of the following evident reasons and examples.

On the one hand, taking courses taught by professors with whom we have already had other classes during our past years of study can make us so comfortable. To be more specific, a familiar professor is more likely to provide better assistance in and out of class. Knowing a professor’ s style beforehand would minimize unpleasant misunderstandings. It would also improve our chances of getting a good grade. This point can be better and further supported by the example from my math professor, who accompanied me for four years so that I could comfortably study from him. Obviously, this example may inform us that taking courses taught by professors with whom we have already had other classes during our past years of study will be convenient for us.

On the other hand, this selection will be an opportunity to make friends with professors who are similar to us. Precisely, because the professor usually discusses some issues with us, so that we can establish a friendly relationship that is meaningful to our success or other good changes. I can think of no better illustration for this point than the example from many professors who are likely to help their students who are acquainted with them in many aspects. Apparently, we can learn from the example that in the last few years of study, we have taken other courses taught by professors who will build some kind of relationship and help us be more successful.

Wishing to help children embrace a promising future, quite a few parents send their kids to learn multiple skill courses, hoping that their kids will foster different skills. This phenomenon also sparks a heated debate over whether people should develop various skills or focus on one skill. Even though people state that specializing in one skill will make people more professional, which has more advantages, from my perspective, developing diversified skills is much better.

Firstly, mastering skills gives people a competitive edge when they hunt for jobs. Due to the rapid development of economy, the society has changed, and the demand of talent market is also changing, which requires more and more excellent talents with various abilities, finding a desirable job has become more difficult. As such, many employers raised their expectations for potential employees.

Secondly, possessing different skills can enhance one’s friend circle, which will create more opportunities to become successful. We mingle with others who have the same interests. By doing so, we can have common chatting topics or even get suggestions or help from each other. If a person can grasp different skills, one may have more opportunities to take part in different groups, which is very key to success.

Take Huang Bo as an example, he is a famous film star in China and has won many film awards. Although Huang Bo didn’t perform well in school and didn’t have a good educational background, he was still very popular because he could sing and dance well. He once said on a talk show that life was hard after graduation, but he had many friends who always contacted directors to give him the opportunities to make movies.

In a word, from what I have discussed above, we can safely conclude that people who develop many different skills are more successful.

Wishing to help children embrace a promising future, lots of parents send their kids to learn extra courses, hoping that they will foster different skills. This phenomenon also sparks a heated debate over whether people should develop various skills or focus on one skill. A bulk of people state that specializing in one skill will make people more professional, which has more advantages. From my perspective, however, developing diversified skills is much better. I am going to elaborate on this point in the following paragraphs.

Firstly, mastering lots of skills gives people a competitive edge when they hunt for jobs. As is known to us all, due to the fierce social competition, people find it more difficult to find their desirable jobs. Since employers of large corporations often receive tremendous resumes for a particular position, they tend to be overwhelmingly picky and improve their expectations to find the most outstanding talent.

Secondly, people with different skills are more likely to have a broad friend circle, which will create more opportunities to become successful. That is to say, we mingle with others who have the same interest. By doing that, they can have common chatting topics or even get suggestions or help from each other. If a person can grasp different skills, he may have more opportunities to take part in different groups, which is very critical to be successful.

Takes Huang Bo, a famous Chinese movie star, who wins lots of movie awards as an example. Although Huang Bo didn’t perform well in school and didn’t have a good educational background, he was still very popular among students because he could sing and dance well. He once said in a talk show that he lived a tough life after graduation, but he had many friends who always contacted him and introduced him to directors so he could have the opportunities to shoot movies.

To recap, from what I have been discussed above, we can safely draw the conclusion that people who develop many different skills are more successful.

As society evolves, our living habits change greatly. One of such changes relates to the fact that we young people can make an independent choice. While young people usually depend on older family members, they are more likely repetitive. Here are the reasons.

In the past, ways that the young acquired information from experience remained limited. Since parents are in general more experienced than their children, kids tend to listen to follow parental advice during their decision-making process.

However, they can make better decisions by getting expensive information. Surf the Internet, click a mouse, many news will display on their computer screen within seconds. Besides, we learn knowledge systematically after receiving a good education, which gives us a better understanding of ourselves and the world. The progress of modern society and the improvement of various conditions have created a good atmosphere for us young people to make our own decisions.

According to a survey, which was conducted by Peking University, that aims to find out how students choose their majors, 80 percent interviewed students depend on themselves, while less than 20 percent are decided by their parents or teachers. Most students today are independent, they usually tend to listen to their parents, but ultimately the final choice is up to them. Also, as conditions in the information age are changing rapidly, some adult experiences are not as valid for the present generation.

In the past, it was less likely for youngsters to move out from their hometowns while youngsters usually move from one place to another nowadays. So parental ideas might not fit their situation any more. Therefore, they prefer to make decisions based on their own experience.

In light of my arguments noted above, we can conclude that in contemporary society, we young adults are better able to make a choice on our own.
