It is more enjoyable to have a job where you work only three days a week for long hours than to have a job where you work five days a week for shorter hours.

Spending five days a week working is definitely a better choice. Even though it seems that more time is available, people are busy and feel terrible when work three days a week,

We have to admit the fact that everyone’s concentration is limited. The longer people work, the less effective they are. Many people may have experiences that it is hard to concentrate after staying up late last night. Without enough rest, people fall asleep easily the next day, which has a negative effect on the job. It seems explicit that one can not focus on the same thing for a long time. If people work long hours, the outcomes will not be excellent.

Plus, a four-day holiday is too long for a normal relax. No matter how vital rest is, too much rest results in aftermaths. Take myself for example, when I was a young girl I love the summer vacation as we can have a lot of time to have fun. However, each time I returned to school, I forgot much knowledge I learned in the last sementer. If people work five days a week, they can practice frequently.

All in all, a well-scheduled arrangement can be realized more simplily if more free time is available each day. Imagine that you have not finished today’s work. What would you do? You may stay up late to finish it or leave it to be finished the next day. Both are not reasonable choices. If you go to bed late, you can not get a good sleep so that you may not be efficient. Otherwise, if you leave it tomorrow, your original work still needs to be finished. You may lack time completing all work again.

Above are the reasons which explain why five days a week is a better choice. It is not only sufficient but also suitable.

Question:Teachers were more appreciated and valued by society in the past than they were nowadays. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Just as an old saying in China goes:” one day as your teacher means being your father throughout life”. We can see the appreciation of teachers exists all the time. And I think that teachers are more valued than before.
Education is more and more essential obviously. A hundred years ago, the primary goal for a person was to survive. My grandpa is a farmer, and he worked more than 40 years to plant food for a living. Everyone struggled for more food. But in the 20s century, living can be easily achieved and how to live a better life becomes a question. The main goal for contemporary people is to learn more technology and skills. The sentence:” knowledge changs one’s life” is powerful today.
Plus, Teachers have a comprehensive influence on people than before. When students come into adults, they respect their teachers because it is teachers who teach them the knowledge and teach them how to be integrity. In China, everyone needs to take the compulsory study for nine years so that more people are influenced by teachers.
Before stepping into the society, the amount of time teachers spent to accompany students is more than before. Today working adults are busier than before, and the living pressure is higher. Parents have less time to share with their children ,and teachers stay with children during the daytime. Take myself for example, when I studied in a senior high school I lived in the school six days a week and stay at home only one day a week. My class began at 7:30 a.m.and finished at 9 p.m., with teachers accompanying us. With so much time living toghther, I respect my teacher than my parents.
We usually say that teachers are planters who teach young adults and help them grow. Teachers are more and more important today. The society can not value teachers, who spread intelligence and convey courage, any more.
