In our daily life, people can not avoid the situation that someone prestigious or professional makes mistakes. In that case, whether to point out his mistakes is a dilemma. Say nothing seems like the best choice. Keeping silence is reasonable because you can avoid having direct conflicts with the leader and let the speech go on. But from my perspective, correct the mistake right away is the best option.

First, posing questions is allowed in the speech. When you get confused or feel like the leader says something incorrect, expressing doubt in a moderate way is natural. Maybe someone else has the same question. Even though you misunderstand the leader’s meaning or find that you miss some key points, no one will laugh at you. On the other side, the process of raising questions helps you strength your memory. I bet this will be an unforgettable and rewarding experience.

Second, correcting professors’ mistakes right away can save everyone’s time. If mistakes occur in the speech, the leader has to contact with every attendees in order to correct his mistakes. It is a waste of time. So if you talk to the lecturer after the meeting, it may be too late. You can save the leader’s time and effort by correcting the mistakes in time. A great leader won’t feel offended when someone interrupts his speech because of the mistake made by himself.

The last thing I want to say is about the outlook on life. In this situation, saying nothing is feasible in escaping from the dilemma. However, when you get used to avoiding plights, you are unable to face problems directly. Correcting mistakes in a speech is a trifle. However, trifles like that determine your life outlook.

Nowadays, people hold a different view on the role of parents in children’s education. Some people say that parents show little interest in education. Others point out parents today are involved in children’s education. I agree with the latter. Parents nowadays pay more attention to education than the past.

First, parents realize the importance of education. They are more willing to spend time studying with children instead of regarding it as a waste of time. When I was in fundamental school, I had problems with understanding the biological knowledge especially the features of amphibians. My mother captured a live frog and made it jump up and down. It worked for me because I had no need to force myself to focus. Meanwhile, it triggered my interests in biology. Without my parents’ efforts, I wouldn’t have access to get good grades. They played an indispensable role in my education.

Second, parents have more spare time to accompany with their children today. Development of society enhances the quality of life. Therefore, parents have no need to work all day to support the family. More time is available for them to pay attention to their children. With more income, parents can also provide space for children to develop an interest. A statistical form on the Internet shows that time spent on education is twice as long as in 1980.

Third, teachers encourage parents to be concerned about children’s studying process. Teachers recommend parents to communicate with their children more. The suggestion teachers propose remind parents, hence more and more parents follow teachers’ advice and begin to pay attention to their children.

In conclusion, parents are more involved in their children’s education. More spared time, being aware of education’s significance, and suggestions from teachers contribute to the result.

People hold different arguments on spending money on education. Some propose investing in universities is more reasonable since hi-technology talents are indispensable. Others refute this view by emphasizing the importance of fundamental knowledge. I agree with the latter. Here are my reasons.

First, fundamental education is of great importance. Teenagers build their outlook on money, life, and world during this period. Early education has a great influence on teenagers’ interests. Interests they found in childhood will help them decide on a career goal somehow. Last summer, I took my little brother Wang to the Shanghai Science Museum. In the trip, he saw the Faraday Cage experiment. That’s when he started to show a great interest in physics. I bet the classical physical experiment triggers his passion for physics.

Second, spending money on young children’s education is rewarding. Since facilities in primary school are cheaper than laboratory equipment in university, it is easier to have a profound effect on young children’s education with the same money. Last week, I saw some arguments on the Internet that the money spent on introducing advanced facilities in colleges was so much that we can use them to build several new kindergartens. The arguments might be exaggerated. But we couldn’t deny that small amount of money could play an important role in fundamental education. Furthermore, from the perspective of parents, they would be gladder to see obvious progress in fundamental education.

Third, almost all students have access to young-age education. However, universities are only available to some of them. Because of expensive tuition and family burden, they are unable to enter the university let alone having a class. In this case, no matter how much spent on the university, there is nothing to do with them. We should consider the benefits of most people rather than the elites.

In conclusion, we should spend money on early education. It is beneficial to teenagers’ growth and the development of our country. Also, it meets the demands of most citizens.

It is argued for a long time whether people should work more days for less time or not. From my standpoint, working five days a week for shorter hours is much more enjoyable. I hold the view for two main reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.

To begin with, working five days for shorter hours helps spread the pressure of assignments. Longer working hours mean employees need to face several urgent issues at a moment notice. Intense work contributes to pressure which will drive people overwhelming. As we all know, Japan has the highest suicide rate all over the world. Heavy work and deadlines one after another may account for the phenomenon. To avoid severe consequence, much can be done. People can arrange their schedule by working more days since it can give freedom to divide heavy task.

Furthermore, five days’ working can provide enough time for employees to solve problems. A lot of people have the same experience that sophisticated questions are answered naturally after resting. Psychologists interpret this phenomenon as the result of brain working unconsciously. Anyway, we can infer from it that spending fragmented time on solving problem is more efficient than continuously working all day. The enjoyment people get after completing a hard job will improve their moods.

In conclusion, working five days a week is more suitable for people. Perfect way to relieve pressure and deal with difficult issues.
