20140621 TASK1 essay: village park

The two diagrams compare the current layout of a village park with the previous one ten years ago.

It is clear that the village park has changed considerably with the building of a cycle path around the park and the setup of a picnic area in the southwest of the park. There are no changes to the entrance and the football pitch.

Looking at the illustrations in more detail, we can see that the pond was replaced with a boating lake. Additionally, in the place where there were woods, there is a cafe beside the lake and there are toilets right to the east of the football pitch.

As well as the buildings and facilities mentioned above, the car park was extended to accommodate more cars, with the largest capacity from 20 to 50. There are also more tennis courts, the number of which doubles from 2 to 4. In addition, children’s play area was divided into Children’s park and Children’s softplay area.
