Some people believe that all school students should learn a foreign language, such as English, French or Japanese. This idea has been held up by thousands of hundreds of parents and educators. To a certain extent, it is true that if we require school students without a gift in langue to learn a second language, perhaps, it can cause a negative impact. It might make them upset and struggling if they don’t master a foreign language all the time. Eventually, it could influence other subjects. Moreover, learning a foreign language is not essential for most people, such as farmers, workers and even white-collars. Only some specialist occupations require staffs to master a foreign language, like interpreting, translation and some people who work in a multinational.

Overall, it seems advisable that students should learn a foreign language since their primary school, but not every student should learn a foreign. For those students who do not have a talent, knowing how to speak and how to use it simply should be sufficient.
