Currently, with the fierce competition rising, children often felled stressed out because of limited time. Some people claim that playing and studying is a preferred opinion for them to make full use of time while doing household chores is not essential. However, from my perspective, it is advisable to require children to do some household chores.

Doing some chores exerts a profound impact on the development of children. Obviously, from the period of free compulsive education to popularized higher education, a wide scope of knowledge is taught to children, however, teachers never impart the awareness of independence, responsibility, and so on.  It is the studying stress that is so big for current children, nevertheless, the importance of getting these awarenesses is not inferior to any knowledge. For instance, cleaning bowls independently is beneficial for them to do one thing only by themselves, Furthermore, such thing is helpful to guide them to cultivate the awareness that each member in the family ought to be responsible for doing sth in the construction of the family.

Besides, the process of doing some chores is conductive to the harmonious relationship between children and parents. With the advance in modern society, not only children have felled stressed out, but also their parents do.  so every moment of being together is supposed to be pretty precious for them. Whiling doing some chores together, they could share everything about happiness or sadness with each other, such chores contribute to learn each other easily, children could learn their parent’s hard work, and parents are able to easily learn what happened in daily life about their children ,so they can guide their children quickly to correct false habits and form valuable attitude towards life.

Admittedly, it is true that the time is so scarce, children have little time to do other things. However, there are always important things than playing and studying. While doing some chores in our daily life, we could let our children get something we could never learn from the textbook and possess a more harmony family.
